Resimen Mahasiswa

Resimen Mahasiswa in English is Student Regiment (abbreviated as Menwa) is one of the civilian forces trained and prepared to defend the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia as the embodiment of the People's Defense and Security System (Sishankamrata). Menwa is also one component of citizens who receive military training (student element). Menwa unit command headquarters are located in universities in each unit whose members are students or college students who are located in the campus. Menwa is a component of state defense reserves given military science training such as weapons use, battle tactics, survival, parachuting, military defense, military gymnastics, disguises, navigation and so on. Members of Menwa (wira) in every college or college form a unit that is one part student organization / student in the unit of student activities (UKM). Menwa given different authority and responsibilities with other UKM and located directly under the rectorate.

VISION

1.      As a container channeling the potential of students in state defending and community service. Discipline learning, national insight, mental and physical abilities and leadership.

2.      As a self-development organization for students to face the "crater candra in advance" in the future.

3.      As an organization that can print leader cadres.

4.      Preparing ready cadres in state defense efforts and as a reserve component in national defense.

5.      Organizational life training that stimulates the work environment in the future, and opens a wide network to the national scope.

  

MISSION

1.      Faithful to the Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution and to maintain the sovereignty and honor of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).

2.      Participate to build unity and unity of the Indonesian nation.

3.      Uphold and honor and nurture and practice the noble values ​​of Indonesian culture.

4.      Always practice Tri Dharma college for the welfare of nation and state.

5.      Implement the objectives and functions of the Indonesian Student Regiment and comply with the rules and regulations applicable in universities and countries.
